With the many unknowns due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, the physicians of Midwest Allergy and Asthma Clinic would like to encourage our patients to consider not only receiving care in the clinic, but over the phone as well. The Coronavirus is a respiratory disease and as an allergy and asthma clinic we want to be able to serve our patients in the safest way possible. We are asking our patients who have respiratory symptoms, such as a cough or difficulty breathing, or a fever to please call before coming to the clinic. There are times that we may be able to help a patient with their health needs over the phone. This reduces the risk of person-to-person transmission of the virus. Those patients who are already receiving treatments for their allergy or asthma needs will still be able to be seen in the clinic. Patients with critical needs will also be able to be seen.
However, if you are experiencing a fever of 100.4 degrees or higher or respiratory symptoms, please contact us at 402-397-7400 before your scheduled appointment. The clinic is unable to care for those with the coronavirus so you may be directed to other care.
Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. The health of our patients and staff is the highest priority.
